Professional Sports Authenticator
1–10 scale. Industry default for Pokémon. Best resale liquidity for vintage and modern.
BGS
Beckett Grading Services
1–10 scale with subgrades (centering, corners, edges, surface). Premium for high-grade vintage.
CGC
Certified Guaranty Company
1–10 scale. Strong on modern, fast turnaround. Growing acceptance in collector community.
What to grade
- — Vintage holos with sharp corners and clean centering
- — Modern alt arts and chase rares pulled fresh from packs
- — Cards with strong eye appeal and zero whitening
- — Anything you'd hold for 5+ years
